Paris Hilton Opens Up About the Secret Terrifying Abuse She Suffered as a Teen
"On a story. About Paris Hilton that we first discussed last week, and this all goes back to a documentary about Paris Hilton. Right, Holly. Right. So this is a documentary that Colleen brought to our attention last week, and maybe we even talked about it before, But this is going to be on Paris Hilton's YouTube channel. It's called This is Paris. It premieres September 14th. And in it, she promised to get really candid about something that happened in her past that resulted in her experiencing a lot of trauma. And we were wondering. We're speculating last week what that could be now. I don't remember. Ultimately, the conclusion that you and Colleen came too. But the way we're just we're open to it, right. Oh, absolutely. I definitely This is a story that I look forward to watching When you said it's the 14th of September. Yeah, because I think Paris Hilton is a really sort of misunderstood, Generally speaking person. In media and her her role rather is misunderstood her role in media and pop culture because we have such a just Technicolor stereotype or caricature of what a Paris Hilton is, and I think this is going to peel back some of those layers that we can see. Organically. What How Paris Hilton would like herself to be presented in a way that maybe the caricature of the last 20 years hasn't Yeah, because when you think of Paris Hilton, you think of pink you think of that hot. And maybe you think of her being in D. J. If you've been following her past, 2005 got stuff stolen. Remember that? What was the name of that movie was removed. What was the movie based on like? The bling ring. Yes, the bling ring. Yes. So there was a movie made about people who used to go around and rob celebrities in the mid to thousands, and those people were just teenagers. Bored. Teenagers who are living in Calabasas at the Times will be school anyways. So Paris is opening up. About what exactly Went on when she was a teenager that caused her so much trauma and people dot com has the story in Paris says it was all about being at this boarding school called Provo Canyon School. Interesting. Paris Hilton stayed there for 11 months now, she said. The reason she was sent to the school is because her parents, Ricky and Kathy, were fed up with her partying in New York City all the time. It was really distracting at apparently. Paris went through a Siri's of boarding schools, and then ultimately, they decided to send her to this place called Provo Canyon School. Okay, now what do we know about it? Well, what we know about it from their website now. Is that Provo Canyon School? I'm just reading from the website where they say about us. Preval Canyon School is recognized as an intensive psychiatric youth residential treatment center. In Provo, Utah. Interesting. So that sounds more like That sounds a little more intense than just a quote boarding school right in Paris, Hilton says. When she was at this school that immediately after she arrived, she said, I knew it was going to be worse than anywhere else. She said the abuse he faced every day. Was really harsh, she said. From the moment I woke up until I went to bed, it was all day screaming in my face, yelling at me continuous torture, and she doesn't really elaborate on what torture necessarily means. But she does go on to say the staff would say terrible things. They were constantly making me feel bad about myself and bullying me, she said. I think it was their goal to break us down. And they were physically abusive, hitting us strangling us, She said. They wanted to instill fear in the kids, so we'd be too scared to disobey them. So I have a question.

I don't have kids therefore I don't know what is it appropriate time line. None of us have kids in this show But what are you got to soon for her to be meaning Juno? I don't know what it is and I don't know if I'm the only person that feels this way but there's just something about them that is just so. Pr Thirsty get that. They need to walk their dogs every day. So I'm not saying how were you always the other? It just doesn't seem so authentic in the way that they're being presented to us. I mean I'm not saying that they're not in love and they don't have a happy relationship but just the walking the dogs every single day together. It seems a bit much But Errand to answer your question. I think that when two people are together for a period of time they have three children together the way that John Garner and Ben. Affleck had kids together and you get divorced. I think that Jen and Ben have been split up show long. They obviously know that his mom moved on. I don't think it's that weird for ANA to mask the kids now. I think Ben Respect Jen enough to only bring someone home that he's very serious about and I think Jen respects Ben's decisions and if he is bringing her home to meet the children. I think there's GonNa be an engagement at the end of this quarantine wall. I do think that warranting definitely accelerates your relationship but I think when you already have three children you've been married you've been in a long sort of true love like debacle with your ex wife for as long as they have. we've had a little more moisture this year and may have had a part two but maybe it's just something where we just have to really be more work in the future all of us with the safety and and realizing that maybe it's better just to the land and and waited out rather than trying to all four we don't really know what happened you know we won't know till the investigation is finished the pilot error or elbow or of engine failure who knows but you know the tragedy is that that that not only Colby and it's thirteen year old daughter Gigi but you know do John Altobelli who was the head baseball coach at orange coast college Frasier he passed away along with his wife Kerry and his daughter Alyssa who's a team they are vocal be Bryant's daughter on the basketball team SO two thirteen year old girls ends on out about his wife end Christina Mauser who was Kobe's daughters coach in middle school up north county was also aboard the helicopter so this is a this isn't just a monumental tragedy well you're right it was just terrible for for all parties involved and and just so sad a you know what can you say just very very sad and you know a bad day did you know John no I didn't know him but his son JJ played baseball at Oregon he was a docu played there from two thousand ten to two thousand thirteen and was a short stop there so I knew of him yeah well your honor I know you most likely interviewed Kobe over the years yeah so many times right and I traveled with the Lakers briefly in the you know knows they had all kinds of good to great guy very funny guy if you got to know you a little bit like you said phrase he would've been a good stand up comic because he had a great sense of harmony he loved the pope but he was always making fun of everything I wore my hair cut every time I saw her he never let up the yeah well you know and yeah I could see that and I can see him being very where the and some of the things he used to say were pretty what do you know when he was kind of bantering back and forth with Shaq back in the day off it and one day an amazing do well all absolutely yeah and they you know what with all the battles they have they want that being great friends over the last couple of years in in in yeah the end of Kobe Bryant's career yeah they did it come good friends a phrase what's coming up on your so tonight I'm probably lots of Kobe Bryant talk as well the no well I think yeah I think we're gonna I think you're right they run the risk of scrap the usual comedy and and stuff and and you know we don't want to make it a too much of down there but we pretty much have to talk about Kobe the whole show and everyone's upset you know all over the world but course particularly here in Los Angeles we had so many fans these just warm the staples center tonight with the Grammys going on they were all out front and all the Kobe fans and sort of a dedicated show obviously to Kobe in and spent a lot of time talking about him and the Lakers and what was what's your greatest memory of him on the court so who is greatest basketball performances well I think it was his final game believe it or not worry for all those points you know he's on his way out and he closes it out with an amazing game and how you how you do that so many people don't get the and their career high you know and you couldn't have ended much of a higher now than that he got sixty then all right yeah that's just unbelievable what a way to put a you know a button on your career that's just only an exceptional actually could do that now imagine my career what will end features Smith with a police escort out of the building whatever I'm working at the time and get a bad how are we going to happen I could happen at any time with you as the ninety four point five FM Caillaux SO eleven did three Pacific time what is at two AM to six AM east coast time Caylus ninety five point five of them will be listening prison I'm looking forward to go on and on your so as usual tonight as well we always love having the on there in July is going to be extra special because you knew Kobe really well so really looking forward to having you on the show hi friends great stuff we're talking next week thank you David talk there it goes to great Fraser Smith for one of the great standup comedians of all time and of course a great radio DJ as well in the guy who's been in on the local level LA where air play even if I can say it in English for forty years it's safe with your destination radio pushing the odds with mackerel Jon Anik doesn't want to live with this patriot stuff you come in you're going to tell me when you're in town it to this quest yet day yesterday there's three opinions of copper colored either one he is with short do he's playing possum because he knows the easy victory coming Saturday night or three he's lost his edge what was that yesterday well I certainly don't think he's lost his edge right I think it's fair to say there's not much on this match up in terms of random or legitimate rivalry it certainly hasn't been a backdrop that he's been familiar with an issue of secret even a guy like Joe the album to is the height of respect there were still benefit from right you are always respectful after the flight was never was terrible for the fight yeah well I think he's sort of bank on the fact that it's going to sell itself and I think to when he pulls up his bank of America state for you can't get pushing.

We're gonna go right to Brian. He is going to update us on that Sigler Costa Mesa fifty five Tam Cam fifty five northbound your transition to the south 4:05 was truck on its side has happened in the new our, and it is still here until further notice. You can always use MacArthur boulevard that doubles back to the four. Oh, five fifty five heavy from that point as you make your way up all the way to the ninety one crashing Glendora on the to ten here, Scott. It's the ten westbound at grand rector in the carpool lane. That's going to do a backup starting at around the fifty seven, and unfortunately, you get what a west bound, log even west of there through the Duarte area as you work your way into Pasadena to ten eastbound heavy out of Pasadena expect on flying over toward the fifty seven interchange. Calabasas with Desmond gets a stall eastbound lost hills left lane down for the count sham from liberty canyon. And the worst of it over. To hang of a road again to the other side of Calabasas looks to be a pretty decent idea. Westbound the worst of it off the one thirty four to about ten east at the foro five. "And weather together every ten minutes on the fives. And here's tiny compost. I'll be honest. It's kind of mess right now in Calabasas. Let's start on the eastbound side of the what I want all southbound lanes are closed eastbound lanes at Las Virginis disclosures estimated to end at approximately two AM. And of course, that time is subject to change. This was an earlier preceded that ended in a crash. There was also fatal officer involved shootout. So the back of starts to Canaan road. There's about a forty minute delay all traffic being diverted off at liberty canyon. You can use the Twenty-three to the one eighteen or use Canaan road to PCH. Now, some not so good news on the other side of the freeway one. Oh, one west past. Virginis a crash. There has all lanes blocked. Emergency crews were they are trying to get those vehicles out of lanes. And we just found out that they are not movable. So they have to wait until they get towed. So right now, all lanes are stopped and the westbound side or the northbound side. So what you might do is if you're headed that direction if you get stopped in that there's not really too many alternates to get out of that you might take Parkway Calabasas off the one on one to get around that lobby. That's really busy in Calabasas Long Beach four or five south Lakewood. There's a crash blocking the right lane there. This was a solo car spinout crash. It doesn't look like it's causing any slowing but watch out for that. What are your westbound sixty before the six zero five you have a stalled vehicle in the right lane. There are occupants standing in lane. So be careful driving through that area. In Hollywood, southbound one zero one just got a little busy from Santa Monica boulevard. Stays busy to the one ten next report at eight fifteen I'm Tanya, compass with more traffic for.

Now, how you coping with it? I don't know if you could tell but I got my mask on because looks can be saving. We do have some blue skies out here, but it is still very hazy yesterday when I was off and I was just roaming around town. I had my mask on out in the Hollywood West Hollywood area because I could immediately feel my throat getting irritated by the smoke. That was in the air. Of course, we had those onshore ends at pushed all that smoke further east. And that's why I was dealing with that. But again looks can be the saving.
