Judge to see already get your Wednesday movie the company's going on and obviously for me to talk to Brenda Chris holler Kaylee brokers instead of this committee before clocked at live from Indy but as a combat is going on Joe burrow obviously is getting tide of attention the six three two hundred and twenty one pound quarterback out of L. issue that is going to be the number one pick in the draft and obviously it looks as if the number one pick of the Cincinnati Bengals which I want you to ask your question again big gal on what you think the decision is that is to be made from Joe burrow and his representation as it comes to playing for the Cincinnati Bengals because I have a response after you re ask the question our husband trophy winning quarterback from Ellis you input the low put some statistics it is to let you know how good he was he's our best statistics in the history of college football through for lease at the division one level it's five thousand six hundred and seventy one yards sixty touchdowns and led his team to a national championship with LSU he is widely considered the best quarterback in this draft not necessarily best player maybe chase Daniels from Ohio state is that guy but teams that need quarterbacks certainly are projecting this guy as the top quarterback going into the NFL combine I believe that Joe burrow has the unique opportunity like a John Elway like a it allowed manning to pick the team that he would play for or at least the team that he doesn't want to play for and the question is should Joe burrow exercise that that power he has right now and tell the bangles that he doesn't want to play for them because we know one thing about Cincinnati first of all and I said this and I said this last year during the season that I don't believe that the Cincinnati Bengals loading staff is one that is great and their head coach to know what the hell he was doing his his culture his head coach Zach Taylor who's also the offense of coordinator now I don't if if it was my son and he was Joe burrow I tell him to run away from that situation as fast as possible okay so here's the here's a couple things that I think come into play here a little bit you know Joe brown went to high school in Ohio sort of big usually never sort of bangles great he he he Athens high school in the plains Ohio he so obviously he's probably considered one of the best high school athletes to come out of the the state of Ohio for Ohio state our our scholarship quarterback right now he has a chance to play for the protein okay the NFL team that he has basically what good bad or indifferent been force fed the kid did you know that local TV coverage is all been about the Cincinnati Bengals I would tell them so fast that I do not want to play for sense of well but hold on now let me finish let me finish what I'm saying blah blah blah blah let me finish what I'm saying here not wanna play here's what screws me up on in this whole thing all that being said all of that being said I have a friend a dear close friend who was a first round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals when the bangles come up as a topic of conversation this friend of mine cannot poo poo it fast enough likely most the organization that eight could have paid my friend the most money to play but this guy just liked it so much and disliked the losing so much that he took a one year deal to play elsewhere for chump change at the end of the day that is true now knowing that that friend of mine dear close friend S. tainted me so much the Natty man I can't agree with you more that if Joe burrow has a chance to say I'm not going to do this he should say it now so that way if the rumors are true that there are teams that are trying to move up to take him possibly the Cincinnati Bengals could find a way to deal a guy that's going to come in and is going to spend here is four years and then hit the high road glad I'm out by the way they dear close true friend of mine would be one Alfred H. Williams yeah who every time he talks about Cincinnati is like no no A. N. N. limit let me explain there there there may be some people out there that don't understand the way that the NFL works maybe a football fan or a sports fan it but you don't really understand how the the real in the workings of the NFL works so let me explain how this goes okay when you are drafted by an NFL football club in the first round what happens is that you have a rookie contract that rookie contract is for a four year time period and after that for years okay the team has an option for a fifth year okay say that you are unhappy with the team you don't want the fifth year the team says okay we're gonna take the fifth year anyway okay you go to the fifty year you play you play well and you say Hey you know what they say Hey we want to sign you to a long term deal you say no I don't want to play on the idea you know what sorry we're not gonna do that we're going to franchise tag you okay well okay that's fine and then you go through the process again is that you know I don't want to play for you again and then you franchise a tag of franchise tag again so the NFL club has your rights for seven years as a player if you are if you're a smart guy and you have this unique leverage you know it you go ahead and tell that team now I don't want to go through this process which you and get out of there as quickly as possible you'll just get out of there as quickly as possible because there's nothing you know because it has nothing to do with the CO two years it has everything to do with ownership especially in Cincinnati where if you've seen hard knocks the owner sits in the role what the head coach it goes all the evaluations of every player like al Davis date back in the day and he's also your boss and he's telling you to move defensive lineman over offense of linemen let's see how he looks there and you just have me sit in the role which you and watching every play of every game right he's not allowing you to actually do the job he's actually doing the job and you're just doing the dirty work you're the henchmen right I mean it's it's it's it's a heavy relationship first of all as a NFL coach it's a heavy relationship but the great thing about Mike brown is that he will if you're his guy he's gonna ride which you and trust me he's been that person for a lot of people you know when I went into the college football hall of fame I got a hand written letter from this guy taking me out for my time in Cincinnati and everything he hated to see me leave when I left we we stayed in contact if I call right now picks up on the first call but I cannot athletically I cannot forgive him for giving me David Silva as my head coach while I was in Cincinnati he was not prepared for that position and since he wasn't prepared for that position it cost me a lot because we are not there because all of my teammates a lot not having the right guy who understands what it is to be a professional changes your whole perspective on what this league is or could be and I look at this situation is Cincinnati this is the same situation with Zach Taylor as it is with that as it was with David Schuller and the same ownership is in place I wouldn't do it it's a big challenge join came away the voice of Colorado.
